Located immediately behind the Machine Shop and Mechanical Workshop the Auxiliary Workshops provide useful back-up facilities to complement the other shops both in the preparation and finishing of work pieces.

DEGREASING:
A Sunken Degreasing Tank, with a 5 Tonne Capacity Overhead Gantry, is large enough for submersing stripped Prime Movers up to 399-Caterpillars and is also used for Alternator Main Stator Casings, etc.

SAND BLASTING:
Two Cabinet Sand Blasting Units permit controlled Grit/Sand Blasting.

SPRAY PAINTING:
The Spray Paint Shop is available for Priming, Undercoating, and Final Finishing as required on all types of equipment.

STEAM CLEANING:
Steam Cleaning Units and Cold Water Jet Cleaners, pressure rating to max 2300 PSI + 15 Litres per minute.

All these facilities are interconnected by a Ground Rail System to allow for a ‘Production Line’ through-flow of items.

RENTAL:
Oiltech has available for Rental such equipment as Generators, Compressors, Steam Cleaners, etc as well extensive test and measuring apparatus. Where necessary or as required Oiltech personnel accompany the equipment to ensure correct usage.
